The work purpose is analysis of existing and construction new models of interaction EDSTS with the near-Earth environment, which are necessary for research of such systems dynamics. Applied methods is methods of theoretical mechanics and mechanics of space flight, methods of electrodynamics, methods of probability theory, methods of mathematical and computer modeling. The model of interaction EDSTS with the near-Earth environment which takes into account interaction of superfluous charges of system with the Earth magnetosphere is constructed. Aerodynamic characteristics of the space tethered systems are determined and research of influence of the aerodynamic moment changeability on motion in relation to the center of the masses in the plane of orbit is conducted. The method of definition of probability of a space tethered system survival at threat of its destruction by space particles is offered. The method allows conducting calculations for systems with a monofibre and two-fibre tether. The results of work which are received on this stage will be used on the next stage of works at research of the dynamics questions of the EDSTS, as systems for deorbiting of the space debris objects. The application field - space researches, dynamics of space systems.
