The purpose - development of system for evaluation, control, account and registration of external and internal doses of A category personnel for assurance of a necessary level of radiation safety during the professional activity related to sources of ionising radiation. Methods - dosimetric (tool and calculation), statistical. Results: kinds of A category personnel activity and engineering tools used for measurement of the radionuclides contents in organs/tissues of A category personnel of the nuclear power plant were analysed. It was determined, that Co-60, I-131, Cs-134, Cs-137 are the basic radionuclides which form internal doses. The decisive factors influencing on transition from parameters of an individual dosimeter to an external effective dose are the geometry of an irradiation, a design of a dosimeter, the location of a dosimeter on a body of the person. Methods for modelling of biokinetics for the basic dose-significant radionuclides in a body of NPP workers are developed. It is determined, that the main source of uncertainty at an assessment of an effective internal dose is unknown date of intake. Methodical approaches to the analysis of results of the measurements directed on identification of radionuclides incorporation facts are developed, and methods for the retrospective analysis which are based on application of functions "dose per unit of content" are offered. Formation regularities of an effective external dose and its assessments by means of individual dosimeters depending on energy and geometry (anisotropy) of an irradiation and dosimeter types are examined. Trial operation of a method for definition of anisotropy of a gamma-radiation field on NPP workplaces is carried out. The monitoring system for monitoring of external and internal doses of A category personnel of NPP for assurance of radiation protection at various kinds of activity is developed. Main principles of the developed dose monitoring system are implemented in the developed project of the departmental instruction for determination and the control of external and internal doses of A category personnel of NPP. Scope of use - results of development will be introduced in practical activities of Ministry of Health of Ukraine and Ministry of fuel and power of Ukraine.
