Subject of inquiry is the public-private partnership as a form of the interaction between public and private sectors of the economy. Subject matter is the mechanism of improvement of the public-private partnership's realization. The goal of the research is the development of methodical approaches to the analysis of public-private partnership's effective realization. Research methods are: systemic, econometric, statistic, logical, induction, deduction, analysis and synthesis. Theoretical and practical results are: the role of the public-private partnership as a system of relations between institutions of public and private sectors, oriented to the solution of social problems, is examined; the place of the public-private partnership in the national economy's crisis regulation mechanism is proved; the national and international experience of investment project's realization, based on principles of the public-private partnership, is analyzed; the advantages of public-private partnership projects in comparison with traditional forms of public goods' providing are proved; the complex of preconditions which determine the effectiveness of public-private partnership projects' realization is examined; advantages and disadvantages of application of public-private partnership projects in different forms depending on the field of the economic activity are analyzed; the mechanism of the risk control in public-private partnership projects is proved; the economic, social and ecological indicators of the estimation of public-private partnership projects' consequences are developed as well. The practical significance lies in a possibility of use by state run public authorities in the public management practice the presented conclusions and recommendations in order to form effective mechanisms of the public-private partnership for the purpose of providing a steady competitive socio-economic development of Ukraine.
