The method of geometrical and power parameters for upper cables of the one- and multi-span and doubled skyline units is also developed. The cable sagging curve is modelled like a catenary. To solve transcendental equations systems, the graphically-analytical method and consistency approximation method on the basis of multipurpose tabulated processors are used. It has been determined an optimum length of asymmetrically hung cable with rigidly fixed ends, loaded by its own weight. Impact of dynamic loading, pliancy of support, elastic deformation and changes of cable temperature upon their basic characteristics is established as well. The received results are correlated with experimental data and certain conclusions from native and foreign scholars.
