The main idea of the project is subjecting superalloy fines to deep oxidative refinement at the elevated temperatures in a solid state. This oxsidation must cause removing the detrimental admixture as well as converting the basic and alloying elements mostly to the oxidized state. Then reduction of oxides of these elements will be applied for production of master alloy with its following refinement by electroslag remelting process. The refined Co-/Ni-base master alloy is perfect feedstock for superalloy production.
