It contains ferromagnetic nanoparticles 5-20 nm in diameter encapsulated into the carbon matrix. The pyrolytic synthesis carried out using ferromagnetic catalysts and acetylene has allowed the production of the Me-C composites in the form of multi-wall carbon nanotubes filled with ferromagnetics. The Me-C composites in the form of microparticles of ferromagnetic materials covered with carbon nanostructures have been produced by the arc evaporation of reagents in liquid medium.
