Methods of research - clinical, biochemical, 24-h blood pressure monitoring, echocardiography, radioimmunoassay, arterial ultrasound. Parallelism between expressiveness of target organ damage (heart, kidney and vessels) was established. Correlation between indicators of heart, kidney and vessels hypertensive damage - on the one hand and concentration of uric acid, C-reactive protein (CRP), immunoreactive insulin and indexes of lipid metabolism - on the other hand were detected. The association between CRP and ambulatory blood pressure monitoring indexes was also established. Features of different antihypertensive medication effect on target organ damage, CPR, uric acid and lipid blood spectrum were revealed. It is proved that losartan, perindopril and lercanidipine treatment promotes to delay of hypertensive kidney damage, and makes a positive effect on metabolic factors. Non-effective antihypertensive therapy leads to loss of renoprotective effect and further worsening of renal function.
