Komisarenko Institute of Endocrinology and Metabolism оf the Academy of Medical Scienses of Ukraine" popup.description2 The object of our investigation is the disturbences of physical and sexual development caused different endocrine pathology and changes in the system pituitary - somatomedines axis ( GH - IGF - 1 - IGF - BP - 3). The aim of investigation is elaboration of the new methods of diagnostic and treatment appearing disorders due to ethiopatogenesis of disturbans growth and sexual development in children and adolescents with different endocrine pathology. The methods of ivestigation are : assessment of physical development (electronic weight SECA 890, stadiometer system "Dr. Keller J.", assessment of final growth (standart calculation tables), assessment of bone age (reading method used Greulich - Pyle), assessment of pubertal development (Tanner stage). Determinations of GH, LH, FSH, estradiolum, testosterone were made with radioimmunological methods, determinations of blood lipids and IGF-1, IGF-BP-3 were made with immunofermental analysis ("Immunotech", USA), determinations of Ca, Ca **, P were made with biochemical methods. The estimated results were processed with Microsoft Excel programm. Growth hormone and growth factors, mainly IGF - 1, are the main hormones among different jnes, which impact on the people growth. There were researched assessments of GH, IGF-1 in blood of patiens with isolated GH defficiency, multiple hormone defficiency of other pituitary axes, hypotalamic syndrom, premature sexual development, adrenal disoders. There were determined peculiarities of pubertal period in children with GH secretion insufficiency. The effectiveness and carelessness of long-term GH treatment have been proved in patients with different forms of GH defficiency. Cardio-vascular system, lipid and mineral metabolism have been studed during GH replacement therapy in children suffering from GH insufficiency. We propose to use the results of our work in educational programms for endocrinologists in medical institutions, endocrinologycal hospitals and other specialized organizations. The main data of our investigations will assist early diagnostic and adecvаte therapy in patients with endocrine pathology and their satisfactory social adaptation.
