Purpose of the work are informational and patent insurance of the activities carried out by the divisions of the MOE of Ukraine as well as research divisions of the UkrFSRI in the sphere of fire safety and activities of emergency and rescue services of the leading countries of the world. Methods of the researches are gathering of information, its classification, analyzing, revelation of the main tendencies, development of the conclusions and proposals when studying and generalization of informational notifications and publications, first of all "Fore safety" abstract journal, electronic database "Intellectual property", and Internet pages (web-sites) of emergency and rescue services of foreign countries and other informational portals. 31 informational and patent sets were composed as results of carrying out of the research work, and an amendment was prepared to the "Technical means, equipment, and ammunition for the divisions of the MOE of Ukraine" electronic reference book. Actualization of the electronic catalogue of the reports of the Institute has been carried out for the period of 1992 to 2009 years, and 440 ones were added to it. Informational references on holding of exhibition and scientific measures in the sphere of the activities of the MOE were prepared and sent to the MOE monthly. 4 articles to reflect character and problems of "Information-2009" research work were published in "Scientific bulletin of the UkrFSRI" and "Fire safety" journals.
