Methods: The market monitoring, comparative and mathematical analysis. Results: The wold diamond price changes dynamic for the past 30 years was analysed and the respective tendencies were found. The findings will allow making the short-term price prognosis for the near future. The price indexes arranged in the form of tables with explanations show the common diamond market prices. Introduction degree: The diamond price indexes were published in "The precious and decorative stones reference guide" № 1 and №3 dated 2009.
