Welding modes were developed, namely welding current, arc voltage and accelerating voltage, welding speeds; characteristics of the produced welded joints and their compositin were studided, investigations of the joints structure and hardness and chemical inhomogeneteity were conducted, as well as intercrystalline corrosion stidies. Perfomed work will be used for welding and repair of piping in manned space station, as well as in repair and mounting of nuclear reactor units in nuclear power plants.
