The noise-resistant multifaceted system for differential measuring of electromagnetic signals to find underground pipelines, to calculate their depth of locationl and to detect places of faulty isolation using parameters of the electromagnetic field electrical component. The mathematical model of underground pipeline electromagnetic field, which takes into account polarization resistant and Warburg diffusion impedance to investigate field information features connections with parameters of corrosion state, is proposed. The signals database of most dangerous defects as transverse crack of rail head for the sections of Lviv and South-Western railways is made. The physico-mathematical model of rail head transverse crack is developed. The express-analysis method for detection of rail faults and the method for separating the fault response and railway sleeper noise, that increases signal-noise ratio, is proposed.
