It fixed, that high levels of cholesterol and triglycerides in patient with type ІІ diabetes are more than in patients with abnormal glucose tolerance. Diastolic dysfunction of left ventricle (abnormal relaxation and "pseudonormal" type) is frequent type of development of chronic heart failure in patients with metabolic syndrome. The connection of cytokines levels (TNF, IL-1, IL-8) and functional class of chronic heart failure is the typical characteristic for patients with metabolic syndrome. There is inverse correlation between eject fraction and TNF level in patient with metabolic syndrome and type ІІ diabetes. Influence of ACE-inhibitors (enalapril, lisinopril) and statins (lovastatin) resulted in decrease cytokines' level (TNF, IL-1, IL-8). This treatment improved function of left ventricle and indexes of lipid metabolism in patients with chronic heart failure and metabolic syndrome.
