The continuum model of DCC shrinkage kinetics during cold pressing and electro sintering and relevant computer code have beed developed. The computer-aided system of monitoring and control the electro sintering process has been designed. The pressure and current density effect on densification and consolidation kinetics of DCC with metal matrix has been studied and the optimal, from the standpoint of product quality, range of technology parameters have been found. The obtained results have been applied in production of the DCC-based segments with increased durability for stone cutting tools.
