The transgenic antibiotic- and herbicide-resistant tomato, potato, salad, chicory and rape plants have been obtained. The new forms of rape, origopharmus, tobacco, belladonna, hiactziamus, potato and tomato plants have been obtained by means of isolated protoplast fusion. The morphologically perfect somatic hybrids of plants that contain nuclear genomes of A. belladonna, H. muticus and N. tabacum, the plastome of S.sinuate and recombinant mitochondrion have been obtained for the first time. The possibility to obtain the triple somatic hybrids of prior nuclear-cytoplasmatic incompatible species of N.benthamiana, S.tuberosum and S.rickii has also been shown for the first time. As a result of somatic hybridization we managed to obtain: a) hybrid plants with chloroplasts of S. rickii and nuclear genome of L. peruvianum b) hybrid plants with chloroplast DNA of S. rickii and S. tuberosum and their hybrid nuclear genome, there fundamental possibility to transfer transformed chloroplasts of S. rickii (wild type species of Solanum genus) to hybrid S. tuberosum+S. rickii plants has been shown c) somatic hybrids of B.napus and O.violaceus with the nuclear genome of both parental forms, rape plastome and O.violaceus mitochondrion. The cybridic plants of L. peruvianum var.dentatum (+L. esculentum(+ L. peruvianum var.dentatum) obtained in the result of reverse chloroplasts transferring have been able to renew all their abnormal morphological, functional and photosynthetic features. The methods of in vitro cultivation of antibiotic bakuchiol producing species Psoralea drupacea (Leguminosae) have been worked out. The method of in vitro propagation of Red book rare species B.sarmatica has also been worked out. The protocol of multiplex polymerase chain reaction has been worked out as well. The molecular-biological and genetical analysis of obtained transformants and somatic hybrids has been carried on by the novel methods. There the methods of analyzing the antibacterial and antifungal activity of plant extracts (the method of growth inhibition and method of serial dilutions) and the method of defining the cytotoxical activity (MTT-test) have been worked through. The extracts with antibacterial and cytotoxical activity have been found out among the studied extracts. The set of callus cultures with the higher activity than the one of the intact plants have been defined. The partly purification of raukafphrinolinesterase as the one of the main enzyme's biosynthesis of dihydroperaxine alkaloids of Rauwolfia transgenic roots culture has been carried on. The cytogenetical characteristics of the Chyvchinskyi mountains flora as one of the main criteria of taxonomical and botanical and geographical studies have been on. The virtual herbarium and the collection of seeds and fruits have been created on the base of the germplasm bank. The in vitro bank, the seed bank with the long term of storing, the bank of genetic constructions, the extract collection data base has been created and being improved in the department of genetic engineering of Institute of cell biology and genetic engineering of NAS of Ukraine.
