Objective of work is development of scientific-methodical base for functioning of TCs, scientific-technical and scientifically organizational Activity Coordination of them on national, regional and international levels. Research methods: analysis of normative-legal documents, international, regional and national standards, guidances, statistical information and reports on activity of Ukrainian TCs, handling of found out information. Main results of researches are as follows: analysis of normative and legal basis of standardization TCs functioning in Ukraine, regional and international organizations of standardization was conducted; annual reports of TC activity in 2004-2008 were analyzed. Suggestions on optimization of TCs activity and avoidance of duplication of activity spheres during the revision of TC Provisions were given. A project "Typical Provision of the Technical Committee of Standardization" is developed aiming to replace Typical Provision ratified as of 20.05.2002 № 298 currently in force, incorporated in Ministry of justice of Ukraine as of July, 11, 2002 № 578/6866. Suggestions on expedience of creation of new standardization TCs, change of TC secretariat, cessation of activity or transmission of functions on TC secretariats conduction in connection with their reorganization were prepared. Provisions of TC in accordance with the requirements of TC Typical Provision were revised. "Methodological recommendations for preparation of Ukrainian TC Work Program" and "Methodological recommendations for TC Activity Procedure" drafts were developed.
