Goals and tasks of work: make the vascular plant species, soil algae, lichens and fungi lists, develop classification of vegetation and create the physociological map, for ecosystems classification, set interrelation between plant component of ecosystems and various environmental factors, offer recommendations for flora conservation. Methods: field-route survey, collecting a representative sample, phytosociological descriptions method, large-scale mapping, analysis of spatial changes, comparative analysis of the floristic composition and coenotic structure, laboratory studies of algae species, environmental impact assessment, classification of ecosystems using EUNIS (European environmental database). Results: comprehensive study of botanical flora of vascular plants, soil algae, lichens and fungi, the specific composition of which is significantly different from the steppic mainland. Vegetation is represented by petrophytic groups of lichens and savannah grassland, not steppe, saline and sand groups. Differentiation of vegetation is shown on map (1:2000 M). The original method of synphytoindication was used for analysis of the basic ecological patterns of vegetation distribution and main natural limiting factors determination. The main conclusion is the lack of carbonates in the soil. The classification of island, not the rocky nature island ecosystems (habitat) on the principles of international classification EUNIS was made.
