The method for evaluation of the deformation value and hydrogen concentration in the material, based on the use of magneto-relaxation effect was developed. A model of the device (a block-chart of selection and transmission of a measured signal) for recording the parameter, that characterizes a time of magnetic permeability in a ferromagnetic was developed. As a result of performed investigations, the dependence of the parameter of magnetic aftereffect on deformation value for an elastic and elasto-plastic state of the material, and also on hydrogen concentration for 17ГС2С and У9 steels was established.
