It underlines an importance of pipe state control during its service not only from the point of a revealing of corrosion defects (from external and internal pipe surfaces) but also in-bulk metal degradation. For properly evaluation of in-service degradation of steel pipeline properties it is necessary the knowledge about the parameters which should be maximum sensitive to degradation and detect a loss of workability of pipelines. The results of the work are used in Administration of Main Pipelines "Prykarpattransgaz" for a choosing of the optimal service regimes for gas transported system of Underkarpathian region.
