Methods of the research - analysis of platinum and similar metals world market, which determined by mining of the most important industrial kinds of ores, comparison with platinum bearing formation of Ukraine on the basement of data from activity of regional branches of the Geological Survey of Ukraine as well as special investigations of different academic organizations, ranging of the perspective objects according to positive exploration fitches, caring out analytical investigations to determine most promising sectors. Results of the research - methods instructions: for exploration on platinum and similar metals in different structures of Ukraine, sampling of cores for platinum and similar metals detecting, project of Program "Platinum and similar metals of Ukraine", and monographic report "Industrial kinds of world platinum deposits" were created. Priority objects with platinum bearing formation were distinguished. Precise analytical investigations with selecting of platinum and coexisting metals and metallic rhenium were conducted for the first order sectors of the Kapitanka ore field. Possible ways of the potential economical importance estimation were shown for investigated sectors.
