The changes of gene expression were investigated in rats influenced by high altitude hypoxia and hypoxical preconditioning on Elbrus station of ICAMER NASU. It was shown that high altitude hypoxia prevents age reduction of transcription factor HIF-1alpha in myocardium, activates compensatory HIF-3alpha - dependent mechanisms. Purposeful induction of genes by hypoxical preconditioning led to activation IGF-1- and HSP60-mediated mechanisms of prolonged reprogramming of energy metabolism in cardiomyocytes without dangerous activation of proliferative processes. The method for hypoxical preconditioning on high altitude has been carried out, which demonstrated prolonged favorable influence on cholesterol and its fraction content in blood of volunteers, water and electrolyte balance, metabolic processes. Elaborated method is perspective for clinical investigation and introduction into clinical, sports and professional medicine.
