It was shown that stable transfectants acquire fibroblast-like morphology. They are characterized by decreased growth and adhesivity, increased survival, colony formation and motility, decreased sensitivity to estrogens and TNF?, increased EGF-dependent activation of Erk1/2 and Akt signaling pathways. The obtained data suggest that adaptor protein Ruk/CIN85 may play an important role in carcinogenesis.
