Purpose of research - to scrutinize and develop scientifically the conceptual principles, essence, basic directions and technology of socio-pedagogical work with the children of a risk group. In the process of work the theoretical study of the problem was conducted, experimental introduction of contents and technologies of socio-pedagogical work with the children of a risk group in the activity of orphanages, social service centers for children, families and youth was carried out. Consequently, conceptual bases, pedagogical conditions, technologies of socio-pedagogical work with the children of a risk group, were defined. Scientific result, on which work is directed, lies in scrutinizing the object, contents and technology of organization of socio-pedagogical support of children of a risk group through co-operation with different social institutes, establishments, which work with children. Developed normative models of social workers' and social teachers' activity with different categories of children of a risk group, must underlie practical work of all the structures, which deal with childhood defence. Practical result consists in organization of socio-pedagogical support, social defence of children of a risk group, which is directed on granting a professional complex, educational, medico-psychological, socio-pedagogical, organizational-and-communicative, social-and-law help and support. Practical result directly includes socio-protective activity, scientific-and-methodological work in relation to increasing a professional qualification level of teachers-educators and elucidative socio-pedagogical work with parents.
