The main purpose of the research is a scientific ground and development of modern conception of EVI epidemiological surveillance and their prophylaxis. Research methods - epidemiological, virological, serological, experimental, statistical. Description of epidemic process of EVI is given among the different groups of population and in the environment in 1994-2008. The epidemiology analysis of morbidity of EVI in 2002-2007 is conducted taking into account age, clinical symptoms, seasons and territorial distributing. Frequency of selection of different groups of EV is set among the infectious patients, their prevalence among child's population, in the environment. The circulation of serotypes of viruses ECHO and Koksaki in Ukraine is analysed and certainly serotypes is specified. The generalization world experience in relation to molecular genetic bases of EVI, in a that number aspects of polioviruses infection in the conditions of eradication of poliomyelitis, enterovirus nature of somatic pathology of pancreas and cardio pathology is given. Dependence of levels of morbidity is on diabetes of 1st type of population of Ukraine from activity of epidemic process of EVI is given. Monitoring of specific antibodies is conducted in a population to epidemiology topical serotypes of EV, its application for the estimation of their prevalence. Leading role of interference activity of EV in forming and development of epidemic process is shown. The leading role of child's organized collectives in support of circulation of vaccine derivate polioviruses, and subsequent dissemination among the different groups of population is given. The optimum parameters of application of disinfection agents are studied in the system for the prophylactic of EVI. Conception of epidemiological surveillance of the EVI is given on the modern stage. Recommendations are given in relation to the improvement of the virological monitoring in the system of epidemiological surveillance of the EVI.
