Recommendations regarding the design of coaxial nozzles that deliver the gas-powder mixture into the processing zone were made on the basis of computational experiments. The developed models of laser cladding that link the power and travel speed of the laser beam, the position of the sample regarding the powder jet and the powder mass flow rate with the dimensions and hardness of clad groove. It was established that it is necessary to use intermittence layers of gradient material between the bed and the sample while forming ceramic pieces by means of laser growing. The results of the research enabled the development of laser technological processes and industrial equipment necessary for their implementation thus leading to the increase in quality of Rapid Processing outcome.
