The work aimed at the estimation and the forecast of social and demographic structuring of Ukrainian society, the design of scientifically well-founded concept of its regulations for the achievement of the harmony of development of all population strata. The research results: the theoretical and methodological bases of the research into the demographic, social and economic stratification of Ukrainian society are developed: the terminological base of social structuring according to demographic and status criteria is improved; the factors of social structuring are revealed; the criteria of social and demographic grouping are developed; The informational database is generated; the evaluations of tendencies of development and interrelations between characteristics of social and demographic structures are carried out. On the bases of the international experience the system of principles and approaches to regulation of process of social and economic stratification is developed, the concept of regulation of processes of social and demographic stratification of Ukrainian society is developed and the forecast of structural shifts for long-term prospect is constructed.
