There were determined clinical and hematological signs, peculiarities of disease course, morphologic and immunophenotypic features, LDH level and frequency of the principal variants of non-Hodgkin's lymphomas (NHL) in children. Consequently some differential diagnostic criterion for these NHL in children had been proposed. There was revealed an increase both of frequency and percentage of positive expression of membrane carbohydrate residues inherent for О-glycans in blood lymphocytes of leukemic NHL patients. Moreover detected changes of carbohydrate determinants in blood lymphocytes of non-leukemic NHL patients may be an evidence of the presence of minor lymphoma cells population in circulation. Typical cytogenetic abnormalities had been found in 60% cases of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). Consequently evaluation of prognostic significance as well as possible influence on response to treatment of revealed cytogenetic abnormalities in CLL had been performed. It was ascertained that both TNF and TGFbeta blood levels were increased in NHL patients comparing with healthy persons.
