Subject of investigation - regularities of the simultaneous induction surfacing over the whole working surface of thin steel discs. Methods - method of technical electrodynamics, theories of heat conductivity and numerical experimental, analytical methods for investigation of electrothermal and termodeformation processes in the system "inductor - metal, metal - blend" under induction surfacing by powder alloys. Mathematical models of the design parameters optimisation of power - saving heating sources (systems) and heating regimes, namely: inductors heat and electromagnetic screens (ITEE system) and system (inductor - magnetic wire) for surfacing and cooling of drive gear and solid forms in order to improve technical - economic factors of surfating process have been developed. Theoretical research carried out allows to design power - saving heating systems meeting the needs of technology in minimal terms and material costs. Basing on the theoretical and experimental research new technological processes of thin steel discs surfacing were diveloped. Their advantages in comparison with the available technological processes of induction surfacing of thin disks by powder hard alloys are presented. Passibilitier of the project improvement manufacturing and rehabilition processes of steel products using the induction heating technology, taking into account inertia forces, are predicted.
