The objects of research: introductive populations of rare and endangered species of natural floras of Eurasia. Goal: elaboration of scientific foundation of floristic diversity ex situ protection in Ukraine and enrichment of Ukrainian cultured flora by wild species of plants from Caucasus, Middle Asia, Altai Mountains and Far East floras. Methods of researches: ecological,phytocoenotical, floristic, phytososological. Scientific foundation of ex situ protection of endemic, relict, rare and endangered species if natural floras of Ukraine and others regions of temperate zone of Eurasia are elaborated. There are 59 species of endemics, 33 species of relicts and 112 species included in Red Data Book of Ukraine (2009) are represented in collection of living plants. The experience of introduction of rare and endangered species of plants in M.M.Grishko National Botanical Garden National Ukrainian Academy of Sciences are given evidence of the perspectives of modeling of the introductive populations in forest and steppe cultivated phytocoenoses as a methods of ex situ protection of floristic diversity.
