Object of investigation - electromagnetic fields, diffraction phenomena, processes of excitation, radiation and scattering of electromagnetic fields by impedance dipole, waveguide-slot structures any geometrical dimensions in the material medium. The purpose of the project - development of the theory and construction of mathematical models of the basic types of radiating systems and their optimization in view of electro-physical characteristics of the material medium and various modes of their excitation; investigation of wave processes and revealing physical conformities of formation of existential and amplitude-phase distribution of electromagnetic fields in near-field, intermediate and far zones of radiating systems; revealing of an possibility of spatial-power localization of fields in the matter. Methods of investigation are theoretical investigations, experiment, computer analysis and modern methods of the numerical design. The generalized method induced EMF with basic functions of averaging method which allows dilating essentially limits of numerically-analytical investigations of practically significant electrodynamic problems is offered and justified. The electrodynamic rigorous and effective for numerical calculations mathematical models of impedance dipole radiators and the crossed impedance vibrators located in the absorbing medium over perfectly conducting screen; multiunit and multifrequency waveguide-slot-hole systems which radiate into the medium with losses; systems of transverse slots of arbitrary length which have been cut through in an exterior conductor of a coaxial line are created. Energy and polarizing characteristics and spatial distributions of the near field intensity of systems of dipole and slot-hole radiators are investigated. Basic possibility of formation of the radiation field with the given spatially-polarizing characteristics is shown. The optimized designs of compact flat microstrip radiators which can be used as applicators at local warming up of biological tissues are offered. The system of the evolutionary equations which describes distribution of non-stationary electromagnetic waves in the infinite space, filled by the inhomogeneous non-stationary medium in longitudinal and inhomogeneous in cross directions has been obtained.
