Researches are carried out on flat and cylindrical samples of steel Х18Н9Т and alloys of aluminium АD1 and АD31. Mathematical modelling of change in geometry of bimetallic knot as a result of cooling and heating of details is conducted. It is established, that qualitative weld joints of bimetallic pipes can be received by shift welding in vacuum by creating perforations on a surface of steel feed.
