The supervision, lead with use of a high-speed video shooting, have shown presence instant асимметрической forms of a drop and continuous fluctuations of its free surface. Frequency of these fluctuations defined by means of processing images. It is established, that in the investigated temperature range (1650 - 1750°С) temperature of metal essentially not влият on this frequency. The transitive model which describes distribution of forces of a levitation inside of a drop, hashing of liquid metal in a drop under influence of the specified forces and deformation of a free surface is developed двумернная. In particular, communication between a stream of liquid metal and dynamic characteristics of a free surface is completely considered. The model has been checked successfully up by comparison with the settlement results resulted in the literature. And, eventually, at regulation of experimentally unknown value of a current in the induction coil, the model can predict well enough the equilibrium form and the position of weighed drop Ni-Cr observable in our experimental installation.
