Information × Registration Number 0210U001579, 0106U005542 , R & D reports Title To investigate the possibility of targeted modification of radiation stochastic effects popup.stage_title Head Druzhyna Mykola Oleksandrovych, Registration Date 25-02-2010 Organization R.E. Kavetsky Institute of Experimental Pathology, Oncology and Radiobiology popup.description2 It was shown that application of thermal stress as aptosis inductor after irradiation stimulates elimination of damaged cells in resistant mammals that contribute to the prevention of stochastic effects. On the example of the course application of the new preparation Rapamid it was shown that radiosensitive mammals need to use preparations which normalize oxidant/antioxidant relationship, enhance repair processes, decrease cell death after irradiation (patent for useful model, claim No u 200912696). It was shown that under low dose radiation use of inosine preparation stimulates postradiation repair processes and stabilizes genome of human somatic cells and is recommended for the prevention of the remote consequencies of radiation. The results obtained testify for the development of new approaches to the targeted modification of low dose radiation effects taking into account individual radiosensitivity.
