Research goal - build new methods of computational intelligence to solve a wide range of intellectual information processing problems under a priory and current uncertainty conditions based on self-organization, i.e. in the absence of the training signal, and soft computing approaches, i.e. based on mathematical apparatus of fuzzy and rough sets; wavelet transform and granulation, artificial neural networks and immune systems; development of new and improvement of the conventional methods for adaptive filtering of colour images, and object-oriented data models in the information processing systems. Methods of research - intellectual data analysis using computational intelligence methods. New methods of intellectual information processing and analysis under a priory and current uncertainty conditions based on computational intelligence methods, self-organisation and soft computing approaches are developed. Mathematical apparatus and theoretical basis for these methods are elaborated. New architectures and self-organisation algorithms for the neuro-fuzzy systems of computational intelligence are proposed for solving problems of intellectual data analysis in real time, such as data compression, synthesis of the dynamic auto-associative neuro-fuzzy memories with extended capacity, clustering, filtering and segmentation of data sets and time series, information granulation, processing of the specialised data bases using ellipsoidal and immune approaches. New methods of intellectual information processing based on self-organisation process and soft computing approaches are capable of solving a wide range of intellectual data analysis problems under higher level of uncertainty in comparison with the approaches bases on learning with teacher. The results of the research in the form of new methods and mathematical basis were used for intellectual data analysis and processing of medical and biological data (application to the problems of variable state analysis of biological object in the medical and bioinformatics problems), technical information (application to the problems of electrical power consumption forecasting in the country and in the regions separately), and education.
