The purpose of work is identification of black spots and the developments of measures targeted at the improvement of state motor road in the Kirovograds'ka region safety at these spots. Identification of dangerous areas at the motor roads is executed basing on statistics data on road accidents distribution within the road length, as well as on the theory of probability. Basing on the result of detailed analysis of road conditions, cause-effect relationship is defined. Coming from such relationship, specific measures on road conditions improvement for each road area are defined. Measures on road conditions improvement at black spots should be worked out considering road accidents kinds and the detailed analysis of their causes.
