Research purpose is an improvement and further development of methodical positions on evaluation of the integrated business structures' competitiveness of and on providing of its increase. Research methods are methods of theoretical generalization, analysis, synthesis, systems analysis, statistical analysis, expert methods, graphic method, method of comparison. As the result of implementation of the scientific research, an important scientific and practical task of development of methodical positions of estimation and increase of competitiveness of integrated business structures is solved. The scientific and methodical provision and practical recommendations on evaluation of competitiveness of integrated business structures' and constituting them business units, which are based on synergetic approach have got further development; methodical suggestions on forming of the program of realization of organization and economic transformations on enterprises, which form integrated business structures, the particular feature of which lies in presence two stages, namely: determination of expedience of realization of organization and economic transformations and estimation of their efficiency taking into account a special purpose orientation activity of business units have bean improved. The results of scientific research are implemented into the work of Head Office of External Economic Connections and European Integration of Kharkov Regional State Administration, State Enterprise "V. A. Malyshev Factory ", Joint-stock Company "Scientific and Production Association Research Institute Conditioner", Ltd "Trade and Industrial Company "NOVA", Kharkov National Economic University. The practical use of the developed suggestions by integrated business structures of industry will allow on the basis of their competitiveness estimation to determine the basic directions of development taking into account the results of activity of the basic competitors, and their use by the state authorities will allow to determine perspective economic subjects for creation of multiplicative market effect on a certain territory.
