Melting temperature ranges and thermal effects (in heating andcooling) of the alloys were obtained. Replacement of cadmium by tin was shown to allow eliminating a carcinogenic element and producing ab enveronmentally clean composition of a cadmium-free silver brazing alloy, thus ensuring good mechanical properties of the brazed joints. The investigations conducted showed a high potential of this area of research, as well as need for deeper and more extensive research.
