The anysotpopy of acoustooptical light difraction in Sn2P2S6 crystals was experimentally studied. It was established that highest value of difraction efficiency is achieved at the interaction of transverse acoustic wave propagated along [010] direction (v21=2100 m/s and v23=2610 m/s ) with polarization along [101] direction with cyrcularly polarized optical wave propagated along [101] axis. The obtained value of coefficient of acoustooptical quality is M2=(1700+-400)10-15 s3/kg.
