The number of drinkers is calculated according to the standard: one drinker for 25 pigs. The aim: the determination of the single technical specifications for home made and imported drinkers which are used in Ukraine. The SSU worked out will be used in scientific and engineering institutions, authority organizations of different properties as a regulatory document that regulates technical specifications for production of pigs. Putting into operation the standards will exclude posibility to produce drinkers for pigs from harmful for animals and human materials, will improve comfort and the environment of pig keeping that influence the quality of meat and cost price and decrease the cataloque of uniform drinkers.
