To improve the characteristics of the sorbents developed simple effective methods of surface modification of the sorbents. Influence of specific structural groups is studied on the adsorption capacity of sorbents . For hydrophobic proposed to use aliphatic and aromatic amines, ammonium salts, carboxylic acids. The new technology of adsorption and catalytic destruction of water with organic pollutions is developed. A process of modification of oxide of manganese sorbent is developed. The process is based on the oxidation of adsorbed organic components, such yak oil products, phenols, aldehydes. At the use of sorbent with magnetic characteristics developed new principles of intensification of processes of water treatment with a significant decrease in working of sewage treatment plants.
