Principles of calculation of energy losses of lifting cranes are formulated for the periods of acceleration and braking of the lifting mechanisms and mechanisms of movement. Mathematical models of the lifting cranes, which allow calculating the energy losses, dynamic loads and parameters of productivity, are elaborated. The analysis of the transitional processes in periods of the acceleration and braking of the lifting cranes at various manners of control are transacted. The recommendations on reduction of the energy consumption of the TOHD are designed.
