The conception of computerized foreign language teaching is being developed. In the process of work a lot of researches have been done to define the efficiency of educational computer programs and web-technologies in foreign language teaching. As the result of work for the first time in Ukraine a special on-line course dedicated to world economy problems has been organized and conducted by the High Business School (Great Britain); also there have been on-line methodological seminars dedicated to the problems of information technologies usage in foreign language teaching. As the results of the research there have been developed multimedia educational computer programs, test shells, test sets for different levels of teaching and various specialities; there has been created a catalogue of Internet resources to use at the classes of foreign languages, a multimedia reading-book. Articles and report theses have been published, 3 master's dissertations have been presented. As for the scientific research, the annual International academic and research conferences "The modern tendencies in computerized foreign language teaching" have been held in 2007 and 2008. About 150 teachers and students of higher and secondary educational establishments from Ukraine, Russia, Poland, Romania and Great Britain took part in the conferences. According to the conference results, collections of scientific works have been published. The developed programs and the methodology of computer usage in the educational process have been honoured by the Bronze Medal of the International educational establishments exhibition "Modern education in Ukraine" in the category "Modern methods of foreign language teaching."
