A purpose of work is determination of directions of development of the performance indicators system, which can be utillized the State Nuclear Regulatory Commission (SNRC) of Ukraine within the framework of the actuvity. A research method is a study and analysis of international experience in relation to development and use of the performance indicator systems, studies of current situation with the use of indexes for the estimation of safety of operation of nuclear power plants of Ukraine and determination of directions of development of the performance indicator systemfor SNRCU. Within the framework of this work the thumb-nail sketch of the performance indicator systems, which are used in leading countries (USA, Finland, Spain), and the results of pilot project OECD/NEA were additionally considered the "Direct Indicators of Nuclear Regulatory Efficiency and Effectiveness. Pilot Project Results". Directions of development of the integral performance indicator system and efficiency indicator system of SNRCU are also certain.
