The graded structures have been formed by using the developed AlCuFe (or AlCuFeTiCrSi)-ZrO2 system composite powders of a variable composition produced by mechanical alloying for deposition of the coatings. Application of the graded coatings in diesel engines, friction pairs of machines and mechanisms will allow increasing the efficiency of the above equipment, reducing the consumption of fuel, and extending the service life of corresponding components and units.
