Subject of the investigation: bottom sediments of the defferent types (sandy, silty). Methods of investigation: spectrophotometryc, gas-chromatographic. Aim of investigation: To study of role bottom sediment of different types in migration and transformation of toxic substances in the aquatic ecosystem. The role of the sandy and silty bottom sediments in migration from water and transformation of crude oil, diesel fuel and organochlorine compaunds (fipronil) was found out. IT is show that the silty bottom sediments has accumulated the explored matters in greater measure, than sandy. With the increase of concentration of these matters in water their accumulation in both types of the bottom sediments has grown. Concentrations of crude oil and diesel fuel 1,5; ,5 and 9,0 mg/dm3, which corresponds to 5; 15 and 30 Public Health maximum admissible concentration (MAC) and 1000 µg/dm3 fipronil in water hasn't influenced on enzymatic activity of bacteria of the sandy and silty bottom sediments, and its activity has inhibited under the influence of 3000 µg/dm3 of fipronil. Extractions were got from both types of the bottom sediments (sandy, silty) at their exposition 14 days with a different concentration of crude oil and diesel fuel are not toxic for Cladocera, while extractions with a different concentration of fipronil were toxic for these hydrobionts.
