Aim of research is the development of theoretical principles and technologies of chemical surface modification of fine particles of condensation aerosols formed during heat treatment of metals. For the first time on the basis of a comprehensive study of qualitative and quantitative composition, dispersion and structure of active surface groups of samples of condensing aerosols developed by the scientific basis for creation of hydrophobic sorbents and theoretically justified the possibility of chemical modification of silicon surfaces with organic modifiers.
