Goal of R&D - research of anthropogenic impact on environmental condition of the Kuyalnik liman and development of recommendations for stabilization and improvement of the Kuyalnik liman. Assessment of anthropogenic impact on environment condition of the Kuyalnik liman was made on the basis of water (samples of water, bottom sediment, algae) and ground (samples of precipitation, soil, flora) ecosystem monitoring data. There were used such factors as: morphology of the water body; hydrological, hydrochemical and hydrobiological regimens; parameters of quality and biological activity of bottom sediment of the liman; parameters of quality of soil and flora's complexes of the liman's coast zone. The assessment include seasonal, annual and perennial time analysis for 2000 - 2009 and intersystem analysis of pollutant migration in complexes of water - bottom sediment - hydro flora and precipitation - soils - ground flora. For this purpose geodatabase of original data was created under design of GIS "Complex environmental monitoring of the Kuyalnik liman". Laboratory experiments were made on basis on wide range of sample materials. Research conducted with various up-to-date physic-chemical and biochemical methods, like spectrophotometrical method, method of atom-absorption spectrometry, titration, ionometry, gravimetry. For express-analysis used spectrophotometer "Spekord M400", atom-absorption spectrometer "Saturn 3P" and "C115-M1", oil hydrocarbon analyzer "Mikran", and portable analysis devices for field work. Georeferencing of monitoring stations, measurement of the liman's shoreline change were conducted with GNSS GPS technology. As topographical background raster maps of 1:100000 scale were used as well as vector map of Odessa region and satellite imagery. ESRI software was chosen as GIS environment with capability of time and spatial analysis. Novelties, scientific and practical value - at first different parts of complex environmental monitoring were joined together under GIS. Design of GIS "Complex environmental monitoring of the Kuyalnik liman" let made single information and analytical structure for decision making, store, systematization, analysis, and interactive view of data of environmental condition of the natural recreational liman's resources. There were made digital maps of pollution level of the liman area. The maps were created of prioritized for the research region toxicants of organic (oil hydrocarbons, phenols, formaldehyde) and nonorganic (plumbum, cadmium, cuprum, chrome, vanadium) origin. Also at the maps the seasonal, annual and perennial dynamic of pollution of 2000-2009 were shown. There were made the maps of salinity for different by water content years as well. On the basis of huge data of perennial environmental monitoring valid patterns of toxic metals distribution in complex multicomponent system water - bottom sediment - suspension - hydrobionts of different taxonomical groups were revealed. It was shown that leading part in accumulation of heavy metals take bottom sediments. New data received of biodiversity changing and quantity of algae cenosis of the Kuyalnik liman. The major factors that impact on hydrobiocenosis and its spatial distribution were revealed. They are level of water, morphology of the liman, hydrographical network, salinity and anthropogenic impact. For the first time microelemental composition of macrofits - dominants (algae and water vegetation) was determined and was determined their role in processes of valuable mud genesis. There were proposed and grounded using of vitamin complex and catalase activity for major parameters of biological activity of the Kuyalnik liman's muds. For the first time from up-to-date level of urbanization description of vegetable association of phytocenosis of the Kuyalnik liman's coastal zone was given. Assessed condition of the liman's coast, based on the phytocenosis's parameters. List of flora and prototype of atlas of flora of the Kuyalnik liman were made. The applied values of the research are decision making support and development of environment conservation events. The environmental monitoring data, as well as map data, may be used for planning of development of recreation resort "Kuyalnik" and for nature resource management and protection of watershed territory, for educational purpose.
