Research goal: Increasing metal plasticity resource in the cold die forging processes by creating a generalized phenomenological model of damage accumulation and using it as a basis for evaluating the influence ofmain technological process parameters and a law of their change on the forming limit and provision of optimal laws of the process parameters variation by means of proportionally-controlled hydraulic drives. The method for strained state calculation in the cold plastic deformation process recieved further development using experimental-computational and numerical methods. Programs were developed for smoothing experimental data arrays by cubic splines. Physical equations for stress tensor components calculation have been obtained, which enables evaluation of deformational strengthening influence on stress value and on the laws of stress distribution in plastic region. The procedure of limit deformation surfaces construction has been improved as well as the method for metal plasticity evaluation durring plastic forming process under volumetric stressed state conditions. The process has been developed for lateral extrusion of solid and round billets using backpressure created by solid environment. Design and cirquits of pressure valve and check valve have been developed on the basis of a single valve element. Working processes in the hydraulic drives with proportional electrohydraulic pressure valve were investigated. Such parameter combination has been found that provides maximal speed of responce, minimal overshoot and stability of hydraulic drive operation.
