The article of research is publishing activity of NAS of Ukraine and its normatively analytical base. The purpose of work is research of the modern state and prospects of development of publishing activity of NAS of Ukraine (1991-2008). The research methods are monitoring of periodic and book editions of NAS of Ukraine, working of the archived sources and current information from publishing activity of NAS of Ukraine with application of methods of bibliographic analysis. This information is analyzed and systematized: in the book products of NAS of Ukraine for 2006-2008, in the magazines of NAS of Ukraine and establishments of NAS of Ukraine; in the book series of NAS of Ukraine; in relation to history of publishing matter of NAS of Ukraine for 1991-2008. Drawn on the results of work at preparation: three annual annotated catalogues of book editions, published of research workers of NAS of Ukraine after 2006-2008; to the catalogue of magazines of NAS of Ukraine for 2008; to the catalogue of magazines of NAS of Ukraine (magazines and collections) for 2009; annually for 12 numbers of magazines of NAS of Ukraine - "Announcer of the National academy of sciences of Ukraine", "Lecture of the National academy of sciences of Ukraine" and for 6 numbers of magazine of NAS of Ukraine "Science and innovations"; two issues of book series of NAS of Ukraine "Science of Ukraine in outer informative space"; normative and methodical documents on the questions of setting of norms of publishing matter of NAS of Ukraine.
