Aim of the research is determination of conditions and main mechanism of resource-saving composition materials formation strengthened by the quasi-crystals with using of new approach to boundary structure control based on self-order and structure renovation. In process of investigation the methods of microstructure, quantitative metallographic, photoemission spectroscopy, differentiated thermal, X-ray structural, quantitative chemical, electron microscope, local microrentgenospectral analysis, microdurometer method for measurement of brittleness and comparative wear method were used. In this work the microscopes of "Neophot-21", "EPIQUANTUM", EPITYP-2, durometer PMT-3, X-ray apparatus "DRON-3M", steeloscope SL-11А, photoelectric calorimeter КFК-2, device VUP-4, electron microscope ЕМ-200, electron scanning microscope "JSM-6490LV" were used. The qualified scientists and engineers with using of modern equipments and approved advanced techniques, the mathematical and statistical data manipulations were provided a reliability, accuracy and correctness of the findings. The structure forming mechanism and thermodynamic stability conditions for the quasi-crystal metastable phases and solid solutions, structure, physical, chemical, mechanical properties, meant for strengthening and decrease in brittleness of composition materials have been determined. The compositions of the new resource-saving composition materials and composition materials technologies with using of impregnation, suspension casting, laser surfacing, detonation treatment, plasmachemical treatment have been developed. The findings of investigation of the physical-mechanical properties for the composite alloys including quasi-crystalline structures and new approach to alloying systems selection for iron-boron and aluminum alloys can be used on formation of the new competitive composition materials and a new alloys types with unique properties, process variable optimization for their treatment, structure-sensitive characteristics control in accordance with desired exploitation requirement.
